THROWER DISC GOLF COUNTERCULTURE MAGAZINE

“Thrower: Disc Golf Counterculture Magazine” is a product that disc golfers have been waiting for since the sport was created. Our magazine offers readers a realistic view of the lifestyles, gear, and practices of avid disc golf players. Contained in its disc-sized pages are numerous articles and photos regarding all things relevant to everyday disc golf enthusiasts.

Here at “Thrower” we pride ourselves in providing humorous and entertaining, yet informative and interesting articles.

Oftentimes, “fun” is left out of other disc golf publications, being replaced by “professionalism”. It is our opinion that tucked-in and collared shirts have their place in PDGA’s “Discgolfer Magazine”. But, “Thrower: Disc Golf Counterculture Magazine” provides a differing and more realistic view of disc golf culture.  A culture that condones disc golfers wearing tie-dyed t-shirts and letting their freak-flags fly, if they so choose. Disc golf is about having fun and interacting with great people, and so is this magazine.
